Receiving Authorization Failure Error

Issue/Question

Why do I receive an Authorization Failure message on the PIN Expired page of TopNet? My PIN was just reset by the IT Service Desk.

Resolution

If the Old PIN text box is filled automatically, erase it and manually type the Temporary PIN number provided by the IT Service Desk. TopNet does not automatically fill the Old PIN box; the web browser is automatically filling an old, incorrect PIN.
