Unexpectedly Clearing Browsing History

Issue/Question

Firefox continuously deletes browsing history and active login sessions each time I restart the web browser.

Environment

• Firefox

Cause

Private browsing mode has been set to always run.

Resolution

1. Open Firefox.
2. Click the  Menu button.
3. Select Options.
4. Select Privacy.
5. Scroll down to History.
6. If the Firefox will: drop-down field is set to Use custom settings for history then change this to Remember history.
