Issue/Question
When clicking a link with text pointing to one page a different page appears instead.
Environment
- Blackboard
- Email
- Webpages
Cause
The text for the link may have been changed at one point, either by the creator of the content or the interface used to create the content. (e.g., http://www.wku.edu actually points to http://www.google.com.)
Resolution
The person that created the content will need to edit the original text and update the link accordingly. Alternatively, the end-user can simply highlight the text and copy it, rather than the link, and manually paste it into the browser address bar.
