Issue/Question

When I try to login to any webpage I receive the error ssl_error_no_cypher_overlap. How do I fix this?

Cause

This error can occur when certain types of encryption have been disabled in Mozilla Firefox.

Resolution

1. Type about:config in the address bar of Mozilla Firefox and press Enter.
2. Click I'll be careful, I promise! below the This might void your warranty! heading.
3. In the search bar type security.
4. If any entries in the search results appear in bold text with the status User Set, right-click each of them and choose Reset.
5. Restart Firefox.
