Monitor in IVS Classroom Showing Not Available

Issue/Question

A monitor in an IVS Classroom is displaying the error message Not Available.

Resolution

This message can be encountered in these IVS Classrooms:

  • AC 212
  • MMTH 250
  • GW 162A
  • GW 164
  • GW 168
  • GW 170
  • GW 172
  • ET 117
  • ET 144
  • ET 225
  • ET 226

AVS Consultants Only

  1. If monitor is in one of the following IVS Classrooms, you will need to go to classroom:
    • AC 212       - Instructor (2)  & Student monitors (4)
    • MMTH 250 - Left Instructor monitor
    • GW 162A   - Student monitor
    • GW 164     - Instructor & (4) student monitors
    • GW 168     - Instructor (2) monitors
    • GW 170     - Instructor & (4) student monitors
    • GW 172     - Instructor (2) monitors
    • ET 117       - Instructor (2) & left student monitor
    • ET 144       - Student (2) monitors
    • ET 225       - Instructor (2) monitors
    • ET 226       - Instructor (2) & left student monitor
  2. Look in the bottom right-hand corner of monitor.
  3. Is the non-working monitor a Revolution HD monitor?
  4. If yes, continue.  If no, skip to #9.
  5. Unplug the power cord from power source.
  6. Wait 30 seconds.
  7. Replug the power cord into power source and turn on monitor.
  8. If monitor is now working, update/close TD ticket, and STOP here.
  9. Additional troubleshooting will need to be performed by 2nd level support.
  10. Update TD ticket
    • List troubleshooting steps performed.
    • List the brand name of monitor.
