Displaying Instructor Computer to Projector Issues

Issue/Question

The instructor computer is not displaying on a projector in a classroom. How do I fix this?

Environment

• Classroom Instructor Computer​
  • Windows 10
    • Deepfreeze​
• Projector

Cause

Classroom computers potentially lose their display settings when the video cables become unplugged, the settings fail to properly get applied, or incorrect settings were selected when the computer was originally configured.  

Resolution

1. Press the  (Windows) + P key on the keyboard simultaneously to cycle through the display options. 
2. Select Duplicate from the menu.
3. If the image is still not displayed, right-click on the Desktop.
4. Select Screen Resolution.
5. Change the resolution to 1024 x 768.
