What do I do if Photoshop is not wanting to save my file due to Maximize Compatibility being turned on?
Cause
Maximize Compatibility may be turned on due to Photoshop trying to make the file backwards compatible.
Resolution
If you do not need to have backward compatibility then just uncheck the box for Maximize Compatibility and save the file as normal. This will reduce the file size and make it easier to send via email.
