Could Not Register MediaSite Desktop Recorder


When I try to register the Mediasite Desktop Recorder, I receive an error message stating: Could not register with Ensure that your profile has been validated and try again.

Your Mediasite profile has not been validated. The desktop recorder cannot be registered until profiles are validated.


Find the email you received after signing into Mediasite for the first time, and click on the link provided to validate your account. This confirms that you are the owner of the email address entered into the Mediasite system.

If you cannot find the email or if clicking on the link does not resolve the issue, please contact the ITS Service Desk or submit a service request.

Once the profile has been validated, try registering the Mediasite Desktop Recorder again. Your NetID will be displayed on the upper-right side of the Mediasite Desktop Recorder after registration is successful.
