Resolving kdbsync.exe Error

Issue/Question

I keep seeing a kdbsync.exe has stopped working error message.

Environment

  • WKU-owned PC
    • AMD Catalyst Install Manager

Resolution

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Open Programs and Features.
  3. Select AMD Catalyst Install Manager.
  4. Select Change.
  5. Click Uninstall Manager and click Next.
  6. Click Custom and Next.
  7. Select All Versions.
  8. Tick the box for AMD APP SDK Runtime, then click Next.
  9. Click Finish.
