How do I enable the menu bar in Internet Explorer?

Environment

Cause

Browser upgrades sometimes conation a newly designed user interface. These updated designs sometimes hide the menu bar so that it is more aesthetically pleasing. 

Resolution

Method 1

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Press the ALT key on the keyboard. 
3. Click View.
4. Click Toolbars.
5. Select Menu Bar.
6. The menu bar should now be preset without pressing the ALT key.

Method 2

1. ​Open Internet Explorer.
2. Right click in the open area beside the new tab icon.
3. Select Menu Bar.
4. The menu bar should be preset without pressing the ALT key.
