How do I toggle my laptop's wireless reception on or off?

Resolution

Many laptops have the ability to turn their wireless network reception on or off. A majority of laptop models use one or both of the following methods to do this:

1. There may be a function key with an icon of a radio tower. Holding down the Fn key while pressing that function key will turn the wireless on or off.
2. There may also be a physical wireless switch on the side of the laptop. Toggling that switch from one position to another should turn the wireless on or off.
