My email is not working, and the error message appears in the status bar at the bottom of Outlook.

Environment
Cause
If there is a problem with an Internet connection, the Work Offline option can allow users to continue to work in Outlook while disconnected from the server. Once Outlook reconnects to the server, it will sync email and calendar items and send messages in the Outbox folder.
Resolution
- Click Send/Receive tab.
- Click Work Offline.
