Double-Spacing Text in Editor

Issue/Question

How do I double-space text in a Blackboard assignment or discussion board?

Resolution

1. Select the text you would like to be double-spaced.
2. Click the CSS button on the toolbar.
3. Select the Text tab at the top of the pop-up window.
4. Next to Line Height, select (value) from the first select down box. When the select box becomes a text field, type the number 2.
5. In the second select box next to Line Height, choose ems. Line height should now say 2 ems.
6. Click Update.
