Locating Files Opened but not Saved

Issue/Question

I clicked a linked file in Firefox and selected to open it. Where is it stored?

Resolution

When Open with is selected in Firefox, the file will be stored in a temporary files folder. To access it again and store it somewhere else:

1. In Firefox, click (Display the progress of ongoing downloads).
2. Click Show All Downloads.
3. Locate the file opened.
4. Click (Open Containing Folder).
