Official Grade Report Displays SSN as ID

Information about the Official Grade Reports in TopNet displaying a masked Social Security Number in the ID field, instead of a WKUID.

Issue/Question

When downloading an Official Grade Report from TopNet, the last four digits of my U.S. Social Security Number (SSN) is displayed in the ID field (e.g., ID: XXX-XX-1234).

Resolution

The Official Grade Report uses your masked Social Security Number as its ID number. This is normal behavior. If you require a copy of your grades that includes your WKUID number, an Unofficial Transcript may be a better choice.
