Printing Fails

Issue/Question

When I try to print anything in Firefox, I get the following error:

Printer Error

An error occurred while printing.

Cause

Firefox Version 51.0.1, released January 26, 2017, seems to have corrupted printer options for some users.

Resolution

1. In Firefox's address bar enter: about:config
2. Click I accept the risk!
3. In the search box enter: security.sandbox
4. Right-click security.sandbox.content.level.
5. Select Modify.
6. Change the value to 0.
7. For any other security.sandbox entries, right-click and select Reset.
8. In the search box enter: print_printer
9. Right-click the entry and select Reset.
10. Restart Firefox.
