Issue/Question
I signed a document using Adobe Fill & Sign inside Adobe Reader, but the signature field says it's still unsigned.
Environment
Cause
The Fill & Sign features simply overlay text and images on PDF documents which are different than filling in the form fields or signing the document with a cryptographically secure Digital ID or Certificate.
Resolution
Sign the document with a Digital ID or Certificate, refer to the related article for help.
Note: This requires the professional version of Adobe Acrobat DC or for Extended Features in Adobe Reader to have been enabled by the document's author.
