How can I create a contact page on my Blackboard course site?
Explanation
Instructors may choose to include a Contacts page within their course site that provides contact information to users.
Resolution
- Navigate to the course site where you want to create the Contacts page.
- Click Organizational Tools.
- Click Contacts.
- Click Create Contact.
- On the Create Contact page, enter relevant information into the provided fields (first name, last name, and email address are required; everything else is optional).
- Make sure the Make the Profile Available option is set to Yes.
- Click Submit.
- Click the + button at the top of the course menu on the left.
- Select the Tool Link option.
- Enter a name for the page.
- Select Contacts from the Type: drop down menu.
- Make sure Available to Users is checked.
- Click Submit. The page link should appear on the course menu.
