Messages Printing on the Wrong Paper Source (Outlook)

Issue/Question

When I print a message, the incorrect paper tray is used, even though Windows and the paper have the proper settings.

Environment

• Windows
  • Outlook Classic

Cause

Outlook 2016 has a separate paper source preference that overrides both the printer and Windows' settings.

Resolution

1. Select the message you want to print.
2. Click File.
3. Click Print.
4. Click Print Optins
5. Click Page Setup...
6. Select Paper tab
7. In the Paper source drop-down menu, select the desired tray.
8. Click OK.
9. Click Print.
