Forcing Student Assessment Completion

Instructions for an instructor to manually force a submission of an assessment for a student.

Issue/Question

I have a student whose assessment has not yet submitted. How can I submit it for them? 

Environment

• Blackboard
  • Original View Courses

Cause

The student did not complete the assessment, or they did not submit the assessment and the link to the assessment has expired. 

Resolution

1. Go to the course in question. 
2. Open the Full Grade Center. 
3. Click the downward chevron  next to where the student's grade should be. 
4. Click on the attempt in progress. 
5. Click the Test Information bar to expand it. 
6. Click Submit Attempt. 
7. Click OK to confirm the submission.
