How do I set up a multi-page Word document to allow space for preprinted letterhead?

Resolution

The best way to account for preprinted space on a page is to set up a custom margin size that applies to the whole document.

1. Open the Word document that you would like to set up.
2. Click the Layout tab on the ribbon.
3. Click Margins.
4. Choose Custom Margins...
5. Adjust the Top Margin size to account for the preprinted space.
6. Select Whole Document from the Apply To: select box.
7. Click OK.
