Renaming a Printer

How do I rename a printer? 

Environment

• Windows 11

Resolution

1. Open Control Panel.
2. Click Devices and Printers. 
3. Click Printers & scanners.
4. Select the printer you want to rename. 
5. Click Printer Properties. 
6. Type in the name that you wish to give the printer where the existing name is.
7. Click OK.
