How do I search for a file on my Mac?
Environment
Resolution
Using Finder
- Click on the Finder in the dock to open a new Finder window.
- Enter in the file name in the search box in the upper right corner to begin the search.
Using Spotlight
- Click the magnifying glass in the upper right corner or press Command ⌘ + Space Bar at the same time to open up Spotlight.
- Type in the file that you are needing to search for.
