How do I download a Mediasite recording?

Resolution

Note: Downloading will have to be enabled before Mediasite recordings can be downloaded/saved.

If you are the owner of the Mediasite recording:

Note: You will need to complete the process of making the recording a Vodcast recording, first.

1. Log into the Mediasite Portal.
2. Click the video tile of the video you wish to download.
3. Click Downloads at the bottom right of the page.
4. Select the file you wish to download.

If you need to share a download link for the recording

Note: You will need to complete the process of making the recording a Vodcast, first.

1. Log into the Mediasite Portal.
2. Click the video tile of the video you wish to download.
3. Click the Delivery tab.
4. Share the File Server URL with anyone needing to download the video. Note that to access the recording you will have to provide your NetID and password.
   Note: This URL may not be available if the process to complete the Vodcast has not completed. This URL can take up to 30 minutes to appear after having completed making the download process.
5. Once you have followed this URL, click the menu button to see the option to download the video.
