Selection Boxes Not Showing Up in Chrome

Instructions for updating Google Chrome with macOS Mojave when selection boxes can no longer be seen.

Issue/Question

My Mac updated to macOS 10.14 Mojave and I can no longer see the selection boxes on webpages in Google Chrome. 

Environment

• macOS 10.14 Mojave
  • Google Chrome

Cause

The update to macOS 10.14 Mojave can cause compatibility errors with certain versions of Google Chrome, thus causing selection boxes to not display. 

Resolution

Google Chrome must be updated to the latest version. The latest version can be downloaded from Chrome's homepage by clicking here and following the installation instructions provided by Google.
