How do I uninstall printer drivers on a Mac?

Resolution

  1. Click .
  2. Select System Preferences... .
  3. Click Printers & Scanners.
  4. Select the printers that may be using the unwanted drivers.
  5. Click .
  6. Click Delete Printer.
  7. Open Finder.
  8. Click Go.
  9. Select Go to Folder... .
  10. Enter
    /Library/Printers
  11. Click Go.
  12. Select and delete the folder named with the printer driver's manufacturer.
  13. Click Go.
  14. Select Go to Folder... .
  15. Enter
    /Library/Printers/PPDs/Contents/Resources
  16. Click Go.
  17. Select and delete the drivers you want to remove.
