Information on when and how WKU-owned equipment can be purchased by an individual with personal money.

Can I purchase a WKU-owned computer, or other devices with my own money?

Resolution

In order to purchase a WKU-owned device with personal funds, the device must be assessed by ITS and deemed unsupported. It, then, must be transferred to Surplus to be removed from WKU's inventory. Information about equipment available for purchase from Surplus can be found here: https://www.wku.edu/surplus/.

All other scenarios are prohibited.
