How do I present answers in a random order for a Blackboard Exam?
Environment
Resolution
- Navigate to the Blackboard Course Site where the test is located.
- Open Course Tools menu.
- Select Tests, Surveys, and Pools.
- Click Tests.
- Hover over the test, and click.
- Select Edit.
- Click Question Settings in the upper-right corner.
- Under Display, check or uncheck Specify random ordering of answers as to your preference.
- Open Ultra course.
- Within Content tab, find test in question.
- Click test name. Alternatively, select and select Edit.
- In Assessment Settings, select .
- Within Presentation Options, check Randomize answers.
Note: This setting cannot be changed once students have begun test submissions.
