Creating A Safari URL Desktop Shortcut

How can I create a web link on my desktop from Safari?

Environment

• macOS

Resolution

1. Navigate to the web page you would like to create a link for. 
2. Click into the address bar. 
3. To the left of the address there will be an icon for either the site's branding or a  globe icon.
4. Click and drag the site's branding icon and/or globe icon and drop it on your desktop.
