Turning Off Startup Apps

Issue/Question

How do I stop applications opening on my computer as soon as I log in?

Environment

• Windows 11

Resolution

1. Click the Start  on the task bar. 
2. Open Settings  .
3. In the Find a setting search bar, search for start up. 
4. Click on Startup Apps.
5. Click the button next to the apps you do not want to start when logging into your computer.
