Identifying Version and Build Number

Instructions for locating the specific version and build number of Windows 11 installed on a computer.

Issue/Question

What version of Windows 11 is installed on my computer?

Environment

• Windows 11

Resolution

1. Click (Start).
2. In the search bar, type and select About your PC.
3. The Settings app will open directly to the relevant section.
4. Scroll down to Windows specifications.
5. The Version and OS Build will be listed, in addtion to other information about the computer.
