Issue/Question
How do I copy a document on a Ricoh printer in a Student Technology Center?
Resolution
Only current faculty, staff, and students are eligible to use printers in a Student Technology Center. Alumni and retirees are not eligible to use printing services from Student Technology Centers.
- Walk up to a Ricoh printer. On the LCD control panel, authenticate by entering in NetID credentials or by swiping your WKU ID card. If authentication is successful, your name will appear in the upper right-hand corner.
- Place paper in the top feeder loader or flatbed tray.
Note: Not all Ricoh printers have scanning and copying capabilities. Please consult the Student Consultant in the Student Technology Centers for more information.
- Press the green DEVICE FUNCTIONS button.
- Press the green USE DEVICES FUNCTIONS button.
- Press the blue COPY button.
- Press the SETTINGS button to check all the scan settings. Settings that can be altered include size, duplexing options, etc.
- Press the green START button.
- Press the white LOGOUT button in the top right-hand corner of the LCD control panel.
Note: Failure to log out of the printer could leave your account compromised. Other clients could make copies and scans on your credentials if you do not log out of the printer promptly after usage.
