Changing Google Doc Permissions

I sent someone a link to my Google Doc and nothing appeared. Why can they not see my document?

Environment

• Google Docs

Resolution

1. Open your Google Doc.
2. Click Share. You can now add users to have rights, or make the document public for anyone with the link.
