Exporting PowerPoint as MP4 (macOS)

Issue/Question

How do I save a PowerPoint presentation as an MP4 movie file? 

Environment

• PowerPoint 2019+ 

Resolution

1. Open the PowerPoint you wish to save as an MP4. 
2. Click the File menu from PowerPoint. 
3. Select Export. 
4. Select a location on your computer to save the file, such as the Desktop or Documents folder.
5. In the File Format dropdown menu, select MP4. 
6. Adjust any quality settings to your preference. 
7. Click Export. 
8. PowerPoint will begin exporting the presentation as an MP4 file and will show a progress bar at the bottom of the presentation. Do not close PowerPoint until this is complete. Depending on the size of the PowerPoint presentation this could take some time.
