Personal Event Displaying on Shared Calendar (macOS)

Issue/Question

I created an event for my calendar, but it appears on a shared calendar.

Environment

  • macOS
  • Outlook

Cause

Outlook for Mac associates events with the calendar highlighted in the left pane, even if the calendar is not marked for showing.

Resolution

  1. Delete the event from the shared calendar.
  2. In the left pane of Outlook, select your calendar; ensure it is highlighted.
  3. Create the event as desired.
