Filtering Messages by Unread (iOS)

Instructions for toggling the unread messages features in the built-in iOS mail app.

Issue/Question

How come my Mail app is only showing new, unread emails?

Environment

• iOS
  • Mail

Resolution

1. Open the Mail app.
2. Choose your account.
3. While in the Inbox, tap the circle icon in the lower left corner. By default, this will toggle a filter to show only unread messages.
