Removing White Bar at the Top of Display (Windows 10)

Instructions for removing a white bar that appears at the top of certain windows in Windows 10.

Issue/Question

When I open a window, there is a white bar at the top of the display that blocks a portion of the window.

Environment

• Windows 10

Resolution

1. Click the Windows  button.
2. Click the Settings app.
3. Select System and open the Display option. 
4. Go to Display resolution and click the drop-down box.
5. Select another resolution, and then switch back to the current resolution. When it switches back to the first resolution, the bar should be gone.
