What do I do when my program has frozen or is not responsive?

Environment

  • Windows

Resolution

This will cause any unsaved work to be lost.  Some work might have been saved by AutoSave depending on settings and program.  Inform client there is a possibility of data loss before you perform this task.
  1. ​​Press CTRL+ ALT + Delete.
  2. Click Start Task Manager.
  3. Find the application that is not responding and select it.
  4. Click End Task.
