Issue/Question
When I open Device Manager I receive this message:
You are logged on as a standard user. You can view device settings in Device Manager, but you must be logged on as an administrator to make changes.
Resolution
- Click Start.
- Click Make Me Admin.
- Click Grant Me Administrator Rights.
- Proceed to sign out of Windows, then sign back in. You should now be able to open Device Manager.
