Device Manager Displaying Standard User Message

Issue/Question

When I open Device Manager I receive this message: 

You are logged on as a standard user. You can view device settings in Device Manager, but you must be logged on as an administrator to make changes.

Resolution

1. Click Start.
2. Click Make Me Admin.
3. Click Grant Me Administrator Rights.
4. Proceed to sign out of Windows, then sign back in. You should now be able to open Device Manager.
