How can I view/track activity or progress of multiple students for a specific assignment?
Environment
Cause
Instructors may need to view stats on general student activity for a specific assignment or assessment. The Student Activity tab (within course content) provides info on the following:
- Average time students take to complete the assignment
- Student grade distribution
- Ratio of students who have opened, not opened, begun drafts for, and submitted the assignment
- Brief timeline and grade info for students who have engaged with the content

Resolution
- Log into Blackboard.
- Select course in which you need to view the activity.
- Under Course Content, find the assignment you want to track and click the 3 dots () on the far right.
- Select Student Progress.
Note: You can also access student activity data on an assignment’s page by selecting the Student Activity tab.
- Log into Blackboard.
- Select the course in which you need to view the activity.
- Click Content in the lefthand menu.
- Click the drop down arrow beside the assignment.
- Click Student Activity.
