Rubric Types
A percentage-based rubric quantifies each criterion within the rubric in terms of exact percentages. The criteria total percentage must equal 100% and may only utilize whole numbers. Rows may be set set to 0% as long as your total percentage still amounts to 100%. If the percentages don't equal 100%, a warning message appears at the bottom of the screen.
A percentage-range rubric breaks down the evaluation criteria into specific components, each with a corresponding percentage range. The system calculates the points earned by multiplying the weight times thee achievement percentage times the item points.
This type of rubric assigns an exact numerical point value to each criterion. The maximum possible points should be less than or equal to 99,999 and may only utilize whole numbers. You may add rows set to 0 as long as your total points are less than or equal to 99,999.
A points-range rubric offers a spectrum of possible point scores for each criterion. The maximum possible points should be less than or equal to 99,999 and may only utilize whole numbers. You may add rows set to 0 as long as your total points are less than or equal to 99,999. The point range for each criterion must go from a lower range to a higher range.
