Issue/Question

How do I make a course available/unavailable for students to view?

Environment

  • Blackboard

Cause

Course availability used to be a part of the Faculty Tools. The setting is now located inside the course.

Resolution

  1. Access course in Blackboard.
  2. Click Course Settings.
  3. Under Course Status, choose Open or Closed.
  4. Close window to save settings.
