Change Manager of a Generic Email Account

Why would I request this service?

Utilize this request if you would like to change the manager of a generic email account.

Note: WKU IT must receive written approval by email from the department head before the access will be changed. WKU IT will reach out to the department head listed in the request to get proper approval.

The manager of an account is the only one who can reset the password for the account. The manager is welcome to share that password with other employees who help manage the email.

 

Who can request this service?

Note: The Faculty/Staff Sponsor of a Student Organization will have to enter this request.

What happens after I submit the request?

You will receive an email confirming that you entered the request. WKU IT will follow-up with you once they have more information for you.
