Request Library Event Setup

Why would I request this service?

Note: This request does not reserve the room for the event. You should arrange a room reservation through the appropriate channels prior to submitting this request.

Utilize this request if you need help with a library faculty/staff sponsored event. The Library Systems Office can assist with the setup of technology and can provide onsite assistance during events. Please submit your request at least 5 business days before your event.

  • Barnes & Noble Events
  • Conference Room Presentations
  • Library Meetings
  • Speaker Series (KYLive, Far Away Places, Faraway Flix, We’ve Been Everywhere)
  • Podcasts
  • Webinars

The Library Systems Office has the following equipment available for your event:

  • Microphones (wired/wireless)
  • Projectors
  • Speakers/PA System
  • Laptops
  • ID Card Swipers
  • Voice Recorder (podcasting)
  • Presentation Clicker

 

Who can request this service?

  • Faculty
  • Staff

 

What happens after I submit the request?

You will receive an email confirming that you entered the request. Reply to that email if anything changes with your event. The Library Systems Office will follow-up with you at least 2 business days before your event by email or phone.
