If program learning outcomes are revised and those revisions are non-substantive, they may be revised through the expedited workflow. Non-substantive changes do not change the intent of the program; however, the change strengthens the learning outcome for assessment purposes. The action verb may be changed, or the learning outcome may be written with a single assessment focus rather than being “multi-barreled.”
When program learning outcomes are revised, the CourseLeaf Proposal must also include an updated assessment plan and curriculum map prior to Provost’s Office approval in CourseLeaf.
