WKU has two curricular review workflows available: full and expedited. Full review (see related article) requires approval by faculty curricular committees, the Dean, Provost, and, in some cases, the Board of Regents. Expedited reviews (see related article) require approval from the Dean and Provost. The expedited review process is intended for non-substantive changes that do not impact other departments. The full review, on the other hand, is reserved for substantive changes that require a greater detail of scrutiny.
Expedited and Full Reviews were approved by the Faculty Senate on February 20th, 2020.
