Error When Opening Assessments

Issue/Question

When I attempt to take an assessment, I see the following error:

Object doesn’t support property or method ‘addClassName’

Environment

  • Internet Explorer 11

Resolution

Internet Explorer is no longer a supported browser for use with Blackboard and another alternate and supported browser should be used. For a list of supported browsers and operating systems please see this article.
