Is it possible to view files (such as PDF or Word documents) online without downloading them to my computer?
Resolution
It is not possible to view files online without downloading them to your computer. However, it is possible to turn on automatic downloads in most browsers, to make the process more transparent. Some browsers can also store downloaded files such as Word documents and PDFs in their temporary storage and display them in-browser. This temporary storage can be cleared when the program is fully closed out and is not retrievable after that point.
