Enabling HTML Images and Content in Email Messages

Issue/Question

When I open an email with embedded images, the images do not load.

Environment

• Windows 10+
  • Outlook 2019

Cause

Outlook disables certain HTML features in email messages for security reasons, thus causing some email messages to either not load properly or experience errors with HTML-rich content and links.

Resolution

1. Click File.
2. Select Options.
3. Select Trust Center. 
4. Click Trust Center Settings.
5. Uncheck the checkbox  for Don’t download pictures automatically in HTML e-mail messages or RSS items.
6. Click OK.
