Issue/Question
When clicking Submit on a rubric in Blackboard, I receive the following error:
A numeric value must be entered.
Resolution
Blackboard features a session timer which will keep a user logged in as long as activity is detected. If a user stays on a page for a certain period of time, the timer can run out and cause issues when trying to save and submit work, even if the user is actively making changes to the page. When using the Rubric feature, this time out period is roughly 15-20 minutes. To circumvent these issues, it is recommended that users periodically click Submit to save changes.
